There has been a lot of good waves in the last month or so and Ive been lucky enough to have the time to get back in the water shooting. I have lots of new imagery and thought it was about time to update the Cornwall gallery. Ive had a lot of interest in prints and canvasses recently so feel free to drop me a message if you want some artwork. Contact me here

Back in July St Ives Surf school hosted their annual Swellboard Shootout at Porthmeor beach. The sun was shining and the waves were trickling through crying out for swellboards. The swellboard shootout is a fancy dress surf competition and the beach was riddled with kitsch outfits.
Anyway ive had these images sitting on my laptop for a while and never got round to uploading them, so here’s a taste of what was cracking. Oh and the Prawns won, although the G.A.S Guls were obviously the stand outs.
With the swell finally starting to pick up at Godrevy it seemed to attract all the salt starved surfers like a moth to a flame. With the tide up on the beach I strolled along and snapped a few frames. The G.A.S boys had the right idea on the swellboards as the shortboarders struggled for speed in the limp waves.
With a few small waves and sunshine kicking about yesterday it seemed only reasonable to take the swellboards out for a splash. I decided to take the housing and try and shoot a few frames of the guys whilst riding. Heres a few from the session.
