Exciting Change – ThunderBomb Surf Camp

After starting this website at the age of 16 I have since been shooting the waves and surfers all around the coast of Cornwall for the past 5 years, constantly trying to further my photography and indulgence in the sea. Good opportunities can often be rare down here in sunny Cornwall and after being offered an opportunity of a lifetime I have decided to jump at the chance of something different.

I have just landed myself a job as a Surf Photographer at the best surf resort in Nicaragua, Thunderbomb Surf Camp.

A chance to shoot perfect waves, in a place with a whole host of different setups. Nicaragua looks like such an incredible location for a surf trip. Especially thanks to Lake Managua which is about 50 miles inland which funnels wind from the Caribbean side and creates steady offshore winds almost every day of the year. So from November onwards I will be relocating to Nicaragua so I point you in the direction of Surfhog and Gwithian Academy of Surfing for your daily surf report. I will still be producing high quality prints and canvasses of my Cornish Surf and Wave art so if you have a image in mind to gift for a surfer this Christmas prints will still be available.

In the meantime head over and swing Thunderbomb Surf Camp‘s Facebook page a “Like” to keep up to date with my photography and check out the amazing surf camp surrounded by uncrowded waves…
